What makes you excited to start work each day?
A good day is when I can help solve a challenge for one of our clients, as I am someone who enjoys being of service to others. It’s truly enjoyable to have an everyday opportunity to see how I can help improve those I get to work with.
Up until today, what’s the most significant accomplishment of your career?
I can’t name a single accomplishment but what makes me feel accomplished is when I’m seen as a truly trusted partner who brings value beyond what is expected.
What would you be doing if you hadn’t gone into technology consulting?
I’ve always wanted to be in the services industry, so I’m sure it would have been something that allowed me to solve complex challenges.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I enjoy spending time with my large family and grandkids as well as watching and playing hockey. I help lead our nonprofit in Haiti, where we strive to keep families together and keep children out of orphanages by providing the needed educational resources to families and students.
What part of Trissential’s core values do you connect with best and why?
Having been here for many years, I had the honor of helping craft our core values and very much align with all three of them. That said, in defiance of Humble Confidence (one of the three), I was pleased that my suggested Passionate, Positive, Professionals were included. After all, Trissential is about three things and the three core values we selected seemed to absolutely represent the team back then, and still do today.
Why did you choose to join Trissential?
When looking to make a career change 16+ years ago, I wanted the right fit and was searching for a mid to large consulting company. After meeting with Keith and Mike (Trissential founders), I couldn’t stop thinking about the passion they had to create a uniquely positioned consulting company with a mission to positively impact everyone they work with. When it came time to decide between a few opportunities, I asked a respected peer how he would choose where to land. He said, “pretend it’s Monday morning, day one at your new job, and you contact a past client or friend and say, ‘I’m really excited to tell you that I’m now with ___________.’ What name comes to mind? Whatever company that is will be where you need to be.” He was absolutely right and I’ve never regretted my decision.

I’m proud of what Trissential has been able to do for our clients over the years. We’ve stayed relevant with market changes and supported our client’s most challenging priorities.
