In February of 2021, Expleo inked a new Global Alliance Agreement with Siemens, giving Trissential the opportunity to introduce even more Siemens clients to our PLM and Continuous Quality services. As a result, Trissential will be well-positioned to provide Quality Assurance (QA) strategy and implementation to a new market here in the U.S., and of course globally through Expleo.

“The Trissential/Expleo team continues to be instrumental to our entire Quality Assurance (QA) process across engineering. The team’s expertise in engineering software testing and PLM automated regression has been a great asset in our agile journey.” –  PLM Client QA Manager, a Fortune 40 US company

The first phase of the new Agreement includes educating and joint GTM initiatives with the Siemens sales force on our joint IP solutions and capabilities. Subsequently later in 2021, extending our role as a solution integrator for Siemens and expanding into services encompassing:

  • PLM strategy and risk assessment
  • Continuous quality
  • Implementation and customizations
  • Data migration and version upgrade management
  • Integration and interoperability with upstream and downstream enterprise and legacy applications

“Our new agreement provides the opportunity to reach outside the test automation expertise and work with Siemens account teams and our customers,” said Tarun Philar, Head of PLM and Digital Engineering for Trissential. “We’ll be providing even more strategic services to Siemens’ clients to help meet the growing demand for faster, reliable software releases.” Philar added the new agreement is part of Expleo’s global strategy to engage with Siemens account teams and customers globally driving joint go-to-market initiatives worldwide.

Expleo teams currently support Siemens’ clients across three critical layers of global business transformation services including business agility, embedded and application engineering and integration, and continuous quality. The solutions partnership between the two organizations began in 2005 when Expleo was engaged in building a test automation framework (TAF) for Siemens PLM products. Expleo (then SQS) provided a dedicated team to create and maintain new test cases as part of a test automation framework with jointly owned IP rights. The TAF has helped drive remarkably lower test automation costs (up to 40%) while providing Siemens customers a risk-free, zero-defect production environment. In addition, Expleo has played the role of trusted advisor, ensuring adequate testing is performed on modules based on ongoing risk assessments.
