This blog post kicks off a new series highlighting the people who make Trissential so special. Just like the famous James Lipton interviews on the show “Inside the Actors’ Studio” we’ll ask our folks the same set of questions for each post.

Director of Resource Management Kelli Mack honors us by kicking off our series.  Read on!

What makes you excited to start work each day?

I get excited to start work each day by reminding myself that each day is a gift and I have a passion around supporting people which is a key function of my role in Operations. Coffee is also my favorite motivating beverage to start each day!

What’s your biggest motivation in life?

Feeling appreciated is a strong motivator for me, but I also don’t expect appreciation without working hard to justify it for myself.

What is the most important accomplishment of your career?

Working for Trissential the last 12 years is something I’m very proud of. I’ve worked with so many great people over the years that have been so instrumental in supporting my growth and success and for that I am forever grateful for those relationships and friendships!

What do you do when you are not working?

I enjoy being social with my family and friends. A lot of my time was spent going to my daughter’s activities and she just recently went off to college so I’m starting to read books again which is fun. In the summertime I enjoy boating and just being around nature.  I always look forward to traveling to various places with some of my favorites being anywhere near the ocean and wine country.

What was your inspiration to enter the technology field?

I remember getting into technology in the late 90’s and it was such a growing and exciting field at the time especially heading into Y2K. I was so fortunate to have a friend reach out to me with an opportunity with a growing technology organization that was also offering a lot of personal development opportunities. It was my first role within the technology field and I learned so much but more importantly met so many wonderful and hardworking people. Throughout the years by having that network I had landed some future roles with other technology organizations because of those strong relationships  I had made within the technology field. The technology industry really is its own special family.

Who is your biggest hero?

Without question, my Dad. He is by far the hardest working person I know who instilled a great work ethic in me. More importantly, he is very compassionate and forgiving which are qualities I greatly admire.

What’s the best part about being a Director of Operations?

I love that I get to work with all parts of the business in my role (Sales, Delivery, Recruiting, Finance, People Services) but especially that I get to support our consultants who deliver exceptional services to our clients.  We hire such great talent as part of our company and we are all proud of helping to improve our clients and make them better.

How would you describe Trissential in five words or less?

Best in Class Technology Consultancy

What would you be doing if you hadn’t gone into technology consulting?

Because I find it satisfying to help people, I think I would have gone into healthcare like nursing. I have a great appreciation for those that work in healthcare for sure!
